My car battery couldn't hold a charge and he was able to quickly diagnosed the problem, identified the correct battery size and even offered helpful information on differences between different types of batteries to help with my decision making. At the end he replaced the battery for me in the freezing night with 13mph winds and got me up and go quickly. Definitely recommend this AAP location.

What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
