    I didn't know what to do, when I locked my doors with the motor running. Thinking what to do, AutoZone came to my mine. I phone to the nearest one-Allen Rd- and talk to someone, and he said that he could come over to help me out of trouble. Omar flew over to where I was- less than 5 minutes - and unlocked my door. Thanks to Omar and AutoZone for a Great day. Frank

    I recently had to get my car battery jumped and I figured it was time for a new battery . So I go to autozone on Allen road thinking this will be quick easy and that they will be willing to help me . Oh boy was I wrong , I first go in there was a young kid worker, maybe 20s he walked right past me , no “ hi how can I help “ nothing he walked right past me . After 20 min standing there he goes “ what ya want “ I told him my battery needed jumped recently and I’m looking to get a new one . He walks out to my car , he couldn’t figure out how to open the hood . Then proceeded to ask me questions about the car only mechanic or car specialist would know . He kept making comments under his breath and just not helpful at all . He was like no we can’t do this . I’m like can I talk to your manager . He goes “ prob not we dont do this stuff “ I’m like excuse me you didn’t even look or try to put me in right direction of assistance . Finally I got the manager Omar he was so find and helpful very understanding ! He told me everything he was doing and why ! I didnt appreciate David who was rude never made eye contact or tried to help and was making rude comments under his breath towards me , a paying customer !!!!!! I understand we all have bad days , but a little guidance or “ let me get you someone who can help” would have been nice .

    I came Friday evening around 6:30-7pm for a battery test and replacement. Was told I needed a new battery so I paid for a new battery and installation kit plus installation. Drove home and the next morning my car was dead. Checked under the hood and the connectors were shockingly loose. Like, you could just pull them off by hand. The battery was also not secured and my bracket was missing. The battery could be pushed around and wiggled by hand. Drove back up there and management was “shocked” I was allowed to leave with my battery installed in such an unsafe way. I was told I’d need to buy a battery installation kit and have a bracket to secure the battery which I DID have previously. I showed my receipt and advised that I was already charged for an installation kit so why do I need to buy anything more to fix such a shoddy job? And how the hell was I allowed to drive away like this? He says “well I don’t know what happened between last night and now,” suggesting to me he thinks I was trying to scam him or something?? I don’t know. All I was asking for was for the job to be done right and an explanation as to why I was sent off on my way like this. Turns out bolts had totally broken when the young guy was installing it. And he said nothing. The connectors couldn’t be tightened after he BROKE my bolt and he said nothing. He left my bracket off and left me with a totally unsecured battery I guess according to him since the car started it was all good. Management had him on the phone and said you really need to tell me if something like that happens, referring to the fact that bolts broke as he was installing it. No kidding. Be very careful and monitor them when they’re changing your battery.. The other guys fixed the problem and got me on my way without me needing to pay for ANOTHER installation kit, as it should be, but I’m very alarmed how such a poor job was done in the first place. I appreciate what the two gentleman did the next day but there is a young guy there that clearly doesn’t care and should not be installing batteries. This could have put my life at risk or caused costly damage to my car. Just amazed. I also had a male friend there because I had a feeling they wouldn’t take me seriously. And I don’t feel like they did. My concerns were met with justifying, but my friend? They sure listened to him. They diverted all discussion about MY car to my male friend. Who doesn’t even own the car. I showed my receipt and when they handed it back, did they give it to me? Nope. They gave it to my friend WHO DOESNT OWN THE CAR. One of the guys kept telling ME how unsafe it is to have a battery installed this way when I am NOT THE ONE WHO INSTALLED IT. The more I think about it the more pissed I am.

    Omar has amazing customer service. I had no clue what kind of parts I needed to purchase and he assured me the entire time. He is great at his job. I appreciate him so much!
