  I came in for a simple oil change. I’ve been a customer here before and in the past they’ve done a great job, which is why I came back. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. There were different people working this time, and things did not go as planned. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, my car filled with smoke inside the cabin and smoke was pouring out from under the hood to the point where it was hard to breathe. I immediately turned around and went back. They later realized that an O-ring/strap had busted and oil had spilled all over the engine bay. It was everywhere — leaking and smoking like crazy. They told me they cleaned it up, so I left again. But when I got home, my car was leaking oil all over my driveway and the engine oil level was low. I had to drive it back a second time for them to properly redo the job, fully clean everything out, and refill the oil correctly. Thankfully it’s good to go now — but it cost me several hours of my day and completely threw everything off. What’s most disappointing is that I wasn’t offered any type of refund, discount, or credit — just a “sorry.” As a loyal customer, I don’t mind going here because it’s close and I’ve had good experiences in the past, but this was a major mistake. At the very least, refunding the $100 oil change or offering a complimentary one in the future would have shown accountability and an effort to make it right. I don’t like bouncing between different places, but after this experience, I’m honestly not sure I’ll be back.

  Highly reccomend! Belle Tire messed up my air intake and my car broke down at a nearby car wash.. I walked into this nearby Tuffy and asked if I could borrow their scanner; they sent out Ernesto (one of their techs) to help me out. He cleared the codes, and was able to get it started. I brought it to their shop, and Claudia was more than helpful with the whole process. I pestered Claudia with calls, trying to figure out how to make Belle Tire cover this repair; and everytime she picked up, she was more than happy to help. Great job, great techs, great staff. Thank you guys!

  this is the second time i’ve brought my car to Tuffy, and once again everyone that works there has been amazing. Understanding the money is limited, figuring out what needs to be fixed first and what can wait. Both Ernesto and Gary walked me through and showed me what the problems were on my car and what needs to be fixed first. Both very helpful all around!

  I recently brought my vehicle in to Tuffy in Oswego to have the oil changed. I had the pleasure to speak with Emma prior also during my oil service. She was very helpful and also informative about the process and vehicles. Ernesto performed the service. What a knowledgeable and diligent mechanic he is. A complete and detailed service was done. A full report was completed with photos and service recommendations. That is very helpful for anyone that my need any further repairs completed. Thank you both for a great experience and a job well done.
