  TEN STARS!!! On Sunday Morning, negative 1 degrees, I woke to 3 low air warning lights for my tires, no windshield fluid light and bad bad wipers and an empty gas tank and an overdue oil change needed. Google said Valvoline opened at 0800 but they didn't open till 0900. I decided to leave but before I did the manager came out and said give me a minute, drive your car in and Ill service you now. Great. Then... He serviced me, accepted my coupon w no questions, and asked me try out new wipers. I said I can't, I'm out of fluid, he said you're good, I topped you off. Then he pointed to my dash and said your tire level will also reset, I said HUH. HE PUT AIR IN MY TIRES AND FLUID IN MY RESERVOIR AND I DIDNT ASK OR MENTION ALL MY ISSUES. He is an absolute amazing human being. I was so grateful. It went from a bad day to a great day because of him. I will never go anywhere but Valvoline.

  Terrible customer issue rectification. Had my oil changed there last year, they overfilled my oil by about twice what should have been put in. This bad oil change destroyed my catalytic converters, which I had to replace on my own dime. About 1 year later, also as a result of this oil change, I had a blown head gasket and had to replace my entire engine. Total cost of oil change...over $4,200. They would not reimburse as that they wanted irrefutable proof their oil change caused these issues. My vehicle is a 2016 Ford Fusion SE 2.0 Turbo and I had never had any issues with the exhaust system or engine prior to this oil change. Mechanics would not commit to saying oil change caused the issues on paper, but the 3 shops I visited to assess the issues, all claimed the oil change WAS the culprit, but couldn't put it on paper because there was no definitive proof, but they had seen this type of thing before. I would suggest avoiding this business location...unless you like extremely expensive oil changes. I have emailed The Fixer at the Sun Times about this location and their poor customer issue rectifications. (Updated entry following this () section which I added 6 days later) As you notice, they left no response, because they KNOW they destroyed my car and don't want to answer for it. They seem to have no problem commenting on positive reviews left more recently than my negative review. The people there know what they did to me and basically screwed me over so they wouldn't lose their job. Manager tried to bribe me with 2 free oil changes, after $4,200 in damages to my vehicle, like I would EVER go back to these inept shysters who only care about keeping their jobs and absolutely no backbone to admit they were wrong and will have no intentions of ever owning up to it and paying for my repairs. If you leave this oil change location and billows of smoke starts pouring out your exhaust, don't take your vehicle back there. Instead immediately take your vehicle to a CERTIFIED mechanic and have them document the mistake and the damage it already caused and have them put that on paper so you can forward it to Valvoline's corporate office for reimbursement and hopefully termination of employment of the inept workers and management at that location.
