  This was the best overall car repair experience I have ever had in my life! The time from windshield crack to completely being replaced was 48 hours. It was so easy to make an appointment, safelite contacted my insurance company, it was easy to view and schedule an appointment online and they had next day availability, they kept in contact about the appointment and progress through text, email and phone! There was no guessing about what was going on! They had a drop box for keys so I was able to drop my car off before the shop opened so I could make it to work on time, kept me updated while the work was being done, my car was finished before the quoted time and there were no surprise charges! The staff was also very friendly and very polite on the phone and in person. Such a great experience for something that is usually a huge pain!

  Great place they did a great job at getting the job done ..have a little problem with my diesel tank but they got it done thanks again definitely coming back ..great service

  I contacted safelite online and ordered my windshield replacement, the technician came out to my home and appeared to professionally replacement the windshield. Days later when it rained, there was water in my car. Again I contacted safelite online, and made an appointment at a facility a few miles from my home. In between time, a service tech called me and asked if I am sure to make the appointment, and I answered yes. So I get there and they tell me that they can't make the repair because they don't have the glass and I should've gone to the facility where the tech came from in Oak Lawn. I ask how was I supposed to know where he came from? They had plenty of apologies for me, and even scheduled another appointment with Oak Lawn right there. So a few days later there was more rain and a lot of water in my car and I drive 15 miles to Oak Lawn to get the repair. They try to fix it but can't, so they replace it. I asked them to split the cost for my trouble, but they said "we don't to business like that" and "have another cup of coffee on us" Safelite repair, safelite replace! But with a leak!

  You can not call to talk to someone. I will probably be looking elsewhere for glass repairs. I have questions. Every time I call to talk to someone, the automated response hangs up on me.

  I received two texts, one email and even a phone call the day before to confirm my Appointment window was 8am-12pm. At 12:10pm I called to see what time he would actually arrive. I was told that I was his first appointment but he was having technical issues and would be there “in about an hour”. He finally arrived at 2:50. I was told it would take 2 hours. I leave work at 4pm, which is why I made a morning appointment. At 3:15 the windshield was still on my car but was now shattered in all four corners. He was obviously having trouble removing it. At 3:30 another technician came to assist him in the removal. At 4pm, the window had not yet been installed so I borrowed a car from my boss and asked the technician to just lock the keys in the car. I received a text at 5:20 that the job was completed. I obviously had a “new” technician. 🙄
