  Was looking for shop that was open on weekends especially on Sundays with good reviews for emergency brake service on my trailblazer and Mavis did not disappoint excellent service with affordable price.

  I love it here!! They are so attentive and professional. I came in because my brakes went out while I was driving to work and I was so frazzled and stressed! Scott was there and his calm & cool demeanor calmed me all the way down. Scott talked to me and explained things to me and reassured me “everything would be just fine” and they would “take care of me” and they did just that!! I ended up needing a lot more than expected (I dont know anything about cars but I knew it was in bad shape.) and I wasn’t sure how I was going to pay for it but Scott gave me several resources & a lot of encouragement to know it would get done & they would work with me. Throughout the whole experience Scott became like a father figure to me and I could tell he was proud when I came in to pay & pick up my car. The rest of the staff are just as professional, knowledgeable, patient & kind. I HIGHLY recommend going to THIS Mavis. You won’t regret it! It feels like I have a brand new car

  I got a full set of tires a couple of years ago, though service was good, I thought price was high. I went back a year ago to have one tire repaired with a nail in it. The guy originally pulled off the wrong tire. That was immediately corrected, but when I got home I noticed that 3 tire air hose caps were missing. Well, I still went back this week to replace a tire that was cut by glass. Now the spare was put on outside my garage and original tire was in trunk. I actually swept the glass away in front of garage. After tire was replaced and car brought out I saw rim logo cap was missing. I was told oh, it was not there but I know it was on when tire was taken off at home. I was told oh check your garage and disappointment hit. I did check when I got home but I already knew it was not there. Either the young guy who did the work broke it or didn't know it fell off somewhere in the shop. No worries Mavis, I'm not coming back.

  I used to go to the Countryside location until they closed down, so I decided to try the Oak Lawn location. I made an appointment online for a slow leak in one of my tires. Mavis followed up with a phone call confirming the appointment and that they would check the tire before recommending any improvements. When I got there, they found a nail in the tire, but was able to fix with with a low cost patch. Service was quick, efficient and most importantly, honest. I never felt pressured or upsold on anything. I will definitely come back here again.

  I would not recommend this place! I came there today at 8:13am my car didn’t get started in until 9:16am because there was no workers I was there for a brake inspection, and was told I need new brake caliper on my rear and also brake pads and rotors I went to my local mechanic, and me that my brake pads was new and rotors was new as well I just got everything done in November this people tired to get over me only thing I need was a brand new brake caliper I wasted $500 on parts for nothing because they gave me false information and tired to scam me
