My total came to $33.31 I gave the cashier $40.30 and I said to her is it okay I’m a penny short. She smiles and tells me it’s okay and then gives me back 6.99 in change. And she clearly has a problem with me because I was very clear about what I said to her and she acknowledged me and I’m very offended by her attitude and actions towards me and I am a African American black man and I’m 🏳️🌈

After some back-and-forth with the sales manager, I ended up getting it for a competitive price. - The sales manager (Paul) was professional and a pleasure to work with. The Bad: - The sales rep (Julio) was indignant when he found out that I was "shopping around". His demeanor changed after that. - The finance manager (Jori) was abrasive and unpleasant. - Getting to a competitive price required more negotiation than it does at other local BMW dealerships. - They require you to get insurance on the car prior to finalizing the deal. They claim that this is the dealership policy. I've never heard of any dealership do this, let alone a BMW dealership. At the end, I got the car that I wanted for a competitive price. Was the process pleasant? No, it was not. Would I buy from Fields again? I would be willing to give them another chance, but they would not be my 1st choice. I have bought 2 BMWs from Laurel and it was a much better experience.
