    My daughter‘s vehicle would not start so she brought it to Car-x at the recommendation of the tow truck company. He thought it was probably a bad alternator since the battery was new. When Car-x called my daughter the next day they told her she needed a new alternator and battery. She explained that the battery was only two months old and still under warranty. The service agent said she would not replace the alternator unless my daughter was willing to replace the battery as well at the cost of over $1000. My daughter contacted me and I called the shop.When I questioned why they felt the battery needed to be replaced, they simply said it’s dead and will not take a charge. I suggested they pull the battery and my daughter could pick it up and go exchange it under warranty and bring it back. They agreed but then called my daughter a few minutes later to tell her they were refusing service and to come get her vehicle. When I called them back to ask why she told her that the service agent hung up on me. I called back and spoke with another gentleman named Ian and explained the situation. He apologized and told me I could pick the vehicle, didn’t offer to repair it. I drove 2 hours to to meet my daughter to try and figure out where to tow the vehicle at 7pm on a holiday, (Labor Day). I decided to try and jump at myself as when I got there there were no lights, the car wouldn’t turn over yet. The battery was registering 12.5 V. When I attempted to jump the vehicle, I noticed the ground wire from the battery connected to the chassis was loose. I tightened the nut and miraculously everything started working. It took me all of five minutes to troubleshoot the issue. I wouldn’t trust this garage to inflate my tires much less do any type of work on my vehicle. They are completely incompetent and when I called back today, the technician did say that he looked at the vehicle and must’ve overlooked it but had no problem quoting my daughter a $1000 repair for parts that were not required.

    Looking for quotes services customer service lead Jason was quite informative asked great questions to help me understand how to explain my concerns. Did not feel like I was being taken advantage of or demeaned. I understand what is to happen to my car and feel good about my quote. And! they want your business!
