On Thursday Sept 18, 2025 I had reservations through Priceline for a hotel and rental vehicle (vehicle reservation through Hertz) in order to drive to South Dakota to see my kids for the weekend that I have not seen since January. I went to pick up my vehicle at Hertz in Naperville at 7am as the reservation said and I was told there were no vehicles available. With no vehicles available I was sent to Hertz in Plainfield. Again no vehicles available. The Plainfield location sent me to their location in Aurora and again same issue. Mind you I was hoping to be on the road by 8am as its an 8 hour drive and I was hoping to catch my kids as they were getting out of school so I am more than beyond frustrated. Instead of being bounced around with no solution I drove to your location in Naperville on Route 59 as I have rented there in the past (should've just gone there to begin with). I was greeted promptly by Ben and he took the most amazing care of me to get me on the road ASAP. Not only was I thrilled with how he took care of the situation I was more excited about how fast and prompt he was after understanding my dilemma. Fast forward to Monday September 22nd when I return the vehicle Ben and your entire staff there were swamped with several customers including myself. Each and everyone of them were very polite and professional which really made me proud having a management background. I would hire all of them today if I were still with my old company. Once Ben was available to help me get the vehicle returned we found that my personal vehicle would not start. Ben graciously grabbed a vehicle and jumper cables and got me up and running. Overall more than satisfied with your team there and I will definitely only do business there going forward when I am in need of a rental and I will be sure to let all my friends and family to do the same.
