I live two hours away from here, was working on a vehicle for a friend, in the area of this auto zone. ordered a part from auto zone, got it installed it. Part was faulty, it happens that’s not a huge deal, they had to order it I didn’t have the time to wait again so I got one from a different part store, installed it problem solved. Went back to this location I ordered the part from, and they told me even though I called prior to going back into this store, just bring your auto zone receipt and we can return it. So I did and when I got there they told me they needed the receipt from the other part store that there not affiliated with to return the part I bought from them, with the receipt original packaging and original shipping label. I’ve contacted corporate who will be handling the situation.
