I was given a rental car with invalid plates, tags, and insurance and got pulled over by the police hours after getting the car and was told it's illegal to be driven, so I returned to enterprise first thing the following day to get a legal rental car. Then today I get an email about a $1.90 toll charge because the illegal vehicle didn't have a tollpass, so now I'm being charged $25 on top as a fee and when I just called Enterprise in Mundelein they basically told me "it's only $25 bucks so just pay it" which obviously isn't the best customer service. Now they're telling me to call another 800 number and getting the run around. I will definitely avoid this location in the future and if you absolutely have to use them, make sure you read all the fine print and confirm your rental car is legal to drive.

When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, he claimed appointment was set for 1030am and we arrived at 1230 with no car available. When asked why a call would not have been made to us before giving away her reserved car, he said "we don't do that". (She also can find no email stating she had a specific appointment time to pick up.) I asked what the next steps were to deal with the incompetence of this and he replied back "there was no incompetence and you can have a good day. I will not be helping you or renting to you." Wowza! Glad I don't employ this person. Just so rude! I've never encountered a less helpful person.

They gave away my car because I was late to pick it up due to my flight being delayed. Then, the employees didn’t even offer to call other locations, I had to ask them if they would find out for me. Terrible customer service.
