  Terrible costumer service ,Came to take a car 05/03/26 and they couldn’t accept utility bills which was paid and had a confirmation on the email ,after to check they have no car I was in line more than one hour ,check in and then an hour later be told they're are no cars? Came a week before rented a car was totally different situation. Very disappointed!

  Thank you so much very helpful and so nice had me in a rental within an hour I recommend enterprise if you need a rental to go out of town or even in town

  My insurance covered the rental of a vehicle and the insurance on it while I drove it from this facility in Mt Vernon, IL the day after my automobile accident. I was told at this facility that I needed extra insurance to cover it. I hadn't checked with my insurance at that moment so later I called my insurance agent and was told that I didn't need this extra insurance on the rental vehicle. I called Enterprise Rental Car in Mt Vernon, IL and asked that they would remove the extra insurance from the rental agreement because my agent explained that my insurance policy would cover any damage or theft of the rental vehicle from them. They said okay. But the next day I received a phone call from some man at Enterprise explaining to me that I would be liable for the rental vehicle being I dropped their insurance on it. I told him that he could call my insurance company and they would tell him that my insurance policy would cover it. He refused to call them but he continued to tell me that I was liable for damages to the rental vehicle and anything like hail damage to it, a rock hitting the windshield and braking it, or theft of it. On a positive note, they set times and dates for you to return the rental vehicle but they are very flexible at this facility. I drove over 2 hours to return the rental vehicle and I wasn't able to return it on the day and at the time that they had required of me. So they did work with me on that. The older gentleman who was working at the Mt Vernon, IL facility when I returned it that day he was very helpful in that he inspected the rental vehicle that I had returned quickly and he had calculated the amount of the reimbursemen that I would receive from dropping their insurance on it and that I would automatically receive it back into my bank account within 3-7 business days. After I gave him the keys to the rental I was free to leave. Fortunately for myself, I had a ride set up that day so that I could get to where I wanted to be. Lessons learned, check with your insurance agent to see if they cover a rental vehicle and if it covers any and all damage to it. Ask the customer service person helping you to obtain a rental vehicle at the Enterprise Rent A Car ahead how much money that they hold the vehicle for...this particular facility held $50.00 but they can go up much more depending on where the Enterprise company is located and the type of vehicle that you are renting from them. Trust me when I say that the Enterprise company is not just wanting to rental you a vehicle for a certain price, they are looking for ways to make extra money from you for their facility when you rent from them. Always check your vehicle insurance policy and with your insurance agent first before purchasing extra insurance from Enterprise. Ask if they reimburse the hold amount if nothing happened to the vehicle while it was in your possession.

  I had to pick up my rental a day early and Micha was really helpful. It was fast and return my car was also fast.

  Manager who introduced himself as Micah made sure my rental process was expedient and efficient, while making sure every costumer was acknowledged and helped as quickly as possible. It's clear he has a costumer service mindset and I will seek this location out over others in the future.
