- CMChris McNeesJan 19, 20265.0I visited this store today after my van's battery died and I received possibly the best service I have experienced in decades. The staff asked me to bring my van up to the front of the store and as I tried to start the car I found the battery had completely failed, before I could run back in one of the employees had already run out to help jump the van. After I brought the van up front, he worked on replacing the battery in sub-zero temperatures for about 20 minutes because the positive node was so corroded and would not disconnect. Unfortunately, I can't recall the employee's name (Carlos was his manager) but he went above and beyond in pretty terrible conditions. I will be happily returning to the Mt Prospect AutoZone in the future and really am thankful for the help and service they provided today.

Today I had the good fortune to work with Don as I shopped for a battery maintainer (“trickle charger”). After driving around for 30 minutes to recharge a jumped battery, I headed to AutoZone. As I was ready to leave, my battery again died. Don spent several minutes working with me on a cold day to restart my car even though I hadn’t even made a purchase. Ultimately the car needed to be towed but Don’s efforts were greatly appreciated!

- W9wineshot 933Sep 30, 20251.0only go here if you know what you need. to lazy to replace a battery even though it in their policy when you buy the terminal protects and grease they have to as long as it is easy access.As well as to lazy to even test you battery. as a manager told " uh our battery tester. uh it broken". ALL the workers(MANAGERS included) were messing around outside the store with there friends rev bombing the car rather then doing there job.
