I live 45 min away.
Took truck in for a “factory new transmission”. $7800.
Left the first time and no one had test drove the vehicle once it left the ford dealership across the street. The truck shifted horribly and contacted the facility while I was in town still. Technician told me to go ahead and drive it home and see how it went. I profusely reasoned with him saying I did t think that was a good idea. After 10 min on the phone I then just told him I was bringing it back and that he needed to go and ride with me. After him getting into the vehicle we don’t make it a quarter mile and it was evident the vehicle still had an issue and I would be leaving my vehicle.
Other than this issue the truck was in good working condition.
2nd trip to pickup vehicle. I then went to the ford dealership to again pickup my vehicle. Opened the door to my truck and the running boards started glitching going up and down up and down. So I thought must be a door open. Checked doors. Nothing wrong. Pulled back in and they said the tech that had looked at by vehicle would be in in about 20 min I could wait or go and come back. I told them I would return when he was in. Because I had t drive. The truck long enough to see if the tranny issue had been resolved. Drove about 1/4 mile down the road and got under to see what was going on with running boards. The running boards look to have been disconnected on the driver side as I could see wire exposed from the sheathing and the harness was just dangling..
Then I came to the passenger side and the back side of my running boards had been damaged.
At this point I just want them to function.
Friday I contacted CIT requesting the owner to contact me about getting a resolution. It is now Tuesday at 4pm after they have closed at yet still nothing has been done or anyone has reached out.
AVOID THIS PLACE. The fact I had to go back twice for my transmission is unfortunate but now I have another issue that wasn’t there before I brought it in and have requested someone to call me only for it to be ignored is not acceptable anymore.
Reply to the response.
The only electrical issues that were present was the rear view mirror was damaged.
The steps worked fully when it was dropped off the first time and the second time. Either you or the ford dealership damaged those said steps. The ford dealership explained to me that the way it was dropped off was exactly how thew vehicle was returned to me which was physically damaged and you could tell they were disconnected based off the modules being dislodged.
The fact the the ownership cant pickup a phone after two phone calls by me instead needing to respond to a google reviews tells everyone what they need to know.
I came for a transmission replacement and left with $1500 repair to my running bords needing replaced. I've called twice to ask someone to have this conversation in private to resolve this issue now we can all see that dealing with the issue wasn't priority until this post was made.
Again there is no want to take care of the issue until it becomes their issue publicly.
AVOID DOING BUISNESS HERE.

I 100% recommend CIT! From the moment I called till I left with my fixed car, they couldn’t have been nicer. They were super friendly, very professional, and truly honest. My car drives as good as the day we bought it!
