- OWOliver WiestJan 22, 20265.0I had used Kurt's Carstar in Maryville for collision repairs three times before my last visit. The work was top-shelf and the customer service excellent each time. This last one deserves special mention. I brought my 2015 Mazda X-5 in for a front spoiler replacement and headlight replacement in December 2025. This was out-of-pocket work. Carstar had replaced the low-beam headlight two years previously after a bird strike. The headlight job was complicated by a burned out power module. The staff worked hard to diagnose the problem and went to my insurance company and Mazda in an attempt to get them to back the faulty part. Both declined, citing the one-year warranty. Carstar stepped up. They sold me the parts at cost and charged nothing for labor. They also found after-market headlights, $110 for both, in lieu of the Mazda OEM llamps at $350 each. Besides the cost of the lights, their willingness to make this right, which was beyond their obligation to me, saved me hundreds of dollars. And the customer service is always outstanding. You won't find a better body shop or a more committed staff.
