- DGDeidra GrantMar 30, 20265.0I recently had to travel out of state for a few weeks and while I was out of state, I had to get my oil changed and just took it to the local Walmart. They informed me that I had an oil leak around one of the seals and probably needed to have that looked at. I told them I would wait till I got back home so I could take it to Feldkamp Towing/Mahomet Where I normally get my car serviced. Feldkamps Was able to get me in within a few days of my return to look at my car and as it turns out, Walmart had spilled oil on my car when they were removing the old oil and filter, and my car was not leaking at all they were able to clean up under my car where that had been spilled and then they didn’t even charge me for the service. it is so nice to have someone you can trust to work on your car locally. Cory and Jayden We’re very helpful and they actually took me out in the shop and showed me what had happened and showed me how they were going to clean it up. They provided excellent service and I would recommend Feldkamp Towing/Mahomet to anyone who is needing their car serviced.

Paid a sum of almost 2k for 2 front rotors and a new single c02 sensor on my cat, after which I got quoted by several other shops/mechanics to run parallel and they said this was ridiculous. If you have anyone else you can go to first, go there.

The fact they got me in within minutes, explained what they saw, and were professional makes me want to do business with them. While we will most likely not be proceeding to fix the car (vehicle worth < fix) I'd recommend bringing your vehicle here. People are polite, efficient, and I could see how detailed they were being on the car lifting it up several times, checking several things before bringing me the quote.
