The technician installed the battery backwards, with the polarities reversed, approximately 5 times. I had to inform him by yelling out the car that the battery was backwards. After they corrected the battery every warning light on my dash was on. I told the tech I needed in writing what he had done, you can read his lies in the attached screenshot. A district manager had to be called, who arrived about 45 minutes later. Then he started working on my car. After I had been Sitting in my car for nearly 2 hours I exited my car to stretch my legs and I was told by Danny the district manager that I was not allowed to exit my car. In all I was there for 3 hours after they broke my car and expected me to sit in my car the entire time. After Danny realized he wouldn’t be able to fix my car, he offered me a ride home and told me the next day I could pick the tow truck of my choice to take my car to the dealership of my choice. However, it turned out that this was a lie by Danny. He called me the next day and said he couldn’t find a tow truck so instead of “dealership of my choice” he had the guy next door come over and look at my car. I was able to pick the car up and it appeared to be operating normally. A few days later my windshield wipers and rear windows aren’t working, and Valvoline is again giving me the run around. Telling me it’s fine not to have windshield wipers because it not supposed to rain for a few days. They also appear to be trying to dodge responsibility for the continuing effects of their negligent battery installation. The techs will damage your car. The techs will lie to try to cover their tracks. The district manager Danny will lie about how he’s going to resolve the issue. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
