  Staff went above and beyond to help work with my schedule to get my vehicle to me. The staff knows their vehicles and told me it would accommodate 5 people and luggage and it sure did.

  I was suppose to pick up my "sporty" rental car at 11am in Litchfield that I reserved for a special occasion that day. They told me it would either be a Dodge Challenger or a Ford Mustang. I got a call at 8:30 that morning that they did not have a car available. Now all the sudden 2 1/2 hours before I need the car it is not available. I asked if he could give me rates for a different vehicle and was told that he could not pull those up. I can hear in the background that it's a call center how could he not look up rates for me??? Finally he told me he could give me an estimate. I'm leaving in 3 hours I need to have an actual price the car is going to cost me. This whole thing has been a nightmare, when I was calling Enterprise last week I kept being told the Litchfield location was closed and not in operation, I finally get through to someone at the car dealership that's on site and they tell me "oh the person isn't here yet the hours are only 10 to 2:00 they'll call you back." It was after 11:00 a.m. so I was calling during the hours of operation. I left my name and phone number. I waited two days no one ever called me back from the Litchfield location. I called again and a man answered and gave me a 618 area code number to call which I did and they told me again someone would call and no one ever did call me. I waited another two days. I call again and get transferred to a call center they finally are able to make me a reservation for a sporty car out of the Litchfield Enterprise that would be either a Dodge Challenger or a Ford Mustang. Then I get my confirmation email and it says I have to pick up the car in Glen Carbon. I spend another day trying to reach someone at the Glen Carbon location to get them to return my call, and they tell me "oh everything's fine we'll have the car at Litchfield for you not a problem". I asked them to send me a new confirmation with the correct information and correct pickup/drop off location. They tell me they can't do that but they assure me everything is fine and they can see the corrected info on their screen. Then today when I'm supposed to leave within 3 hours they tell me the "sporty" car is not available. I specifically ordered a sporty vehicle that they assured me they would have because I have a special occasion I needed the car for. I have never in my life had this many issues with renting a car with other rental companies. This was my first Enterprise experience and this will be my last experience with Enterprise. #Customernoservice #Clarkhoward #BBB

  Would not honor an online reservation. Despite the fact I had a confirmation. Told us to go another 30 minutes down the road and see if maybe they could help us. I explained to him that we wouldn't be at our destination for another 3 hrs and that I was trying to get my 77 yr old Daddy to a family reunion because we live over 900 mile2d away and he isn't in good health. I asked him if they could go pick up a car from the other lot for us since enterprise advertises that they will pick you up I thought maybe they could try to work on honoring our reservation. He said I should have called in my reservation. I did not think a phone call was needed since my reservation had been confirmed online. What's the use of having a website when you don't honor it. It should tell you to call for reservations. If I could I'd give them a -20 for scores.
