- ENEileen NielsenJan 28, 20265.0I went to buy wipers today. The salesperson was so helpful and knew exactly where to find the ones I needed. On top of that, they offered to install. I asked if they were sure since it's below freezing! He said yes, but he'd get his manager since he was new. (I would not have guessed that; very competent) The best part of the whole experience was the manager showing the employee exactly how to install the wiper with hands on learning and watching over when the employee did it. That's the kind of mentoring we need to see.

When other stores said no they couldn’t help Hector was there to help and got us back on the road. They were like guardian angels and helped me get going again. I can’t thank them enough.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
