- CCCharlesDec 13, 20251.0BEWARE windshield replacements. Had first windshield replacement said would take weeks for OEM part. Then was told it would be ready mid following week. When I dropped off my car they then told me it’s a third party and won’t make a difference. Effected cabin and sound. Took it back and then they replaced with OEM. Damaged the Cowl from replacing it twice in a matter of 2 weeks. They gaslit me and said it was fine. Took it to the shop and after going through hell I sent it in to the dealership. They wanted me to wait on their call and when I found a resolution no thanks or help to them they called me back after saying they had no management for a week. They stand my safelite repair replace replace replace. Damage was over $1800 since they didn’t do it right and I gave them 3 tries. Only reason I could reach anyone was by the mechanics. Joe was the one who did both replacements. Save yourself. It’s the jiffy live of replacing windshields.
