Joey in sales was amazing, so calm with my kids and patient, it was hard to not buy something from this guy. Just a good person to work with. We were only looking but he helped us buy the rv of our dreams at a ridiculously good price. Never pushed just was a great teammate in the experience. Ask for Joey! But beware you'll probably walk out a rv owner. :)

We had a great experience. Everyone we dealt with was professional and knowledgeable. Patrick, Ed, Ron, Zak; even the finance guy was great. We spent a lot of money and left smiling. That should be wrong 😂😂. Would recommend checking it out.
Had my camper checked out after having an incident when I had new tires installed at another business . John hammer and his Forman Matt checked out the camper and luckily found no issues we originally bought the camper there 7 years ago and to this day tho are as fast and as curtious as can be . Will definitely by are next camper when we upgrade . This place is absolutely amazing!

I flew from Maine to Chicago and traveled to Huntley Illinois to purchase the perfect RV for me from General RV. The sales person who I initially spoke with on the phone gave me all the information I needed. The RV I chose, a 2026 Thor sequence 20 LS was just as described in the online photos. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted at the door and walked through the day seamlessly. Everything was completely A+ service! I would 100% recommend General RV to anyone looking for a recreational vehicle. I had decided not to purchase a recreational vehicle here in Maine because our one option, wanted to charge me over $3500 to make sure the RV was clean and serviced before it left the lot… Ridiculous! None of these extra fees or shady sales practices occurred with General RV! They were completely top-notch, and straightforward. And I saved $15,000! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

What had begun as a fabulous customer experience ended in great disappointment and frustration. We had arranged a purchase of a used RV unit, had negotiated a purchase price, received information about titling, taxes and other fees. We provided drivers' licenses and a credit card for a deposit. We arranged for a date and time for pick-up as we are located in different state. Then we receive a call stating that they sold the unit to someone else! When I spoke with the sales manager he stated that we hadn't signed the purchase agreement, which we could only do in person, and that the deposit was only a to reserve the price we agreed to. The sales person did NOT indicate this at the time we made the deposit. Given all of the personal information we provided, the deposit we made, the pick-up arrangement made we had every reason to believe we were purchasing that unit. The manager said he was sorry that I was disappointed, and that his staff did not tell me that the unit would remain available for sale to others. That's it. We don't have a camper but they made a sale. Legal? Probably. Good business? Absolutely not.
