  Worst experience I have ever had with car repair shops.(Palatine location) Wasting 3 of my business days and money. I came in with one main issue that was noise and shaking while driving. Instead of properly diagnosing the problem they sold me two new tires and a wheel balancing service, assuring me it would fix it, After the service, the exact same noise and vibration were still there. Then I spent an entire week waiting for a manager to contact me. I went to the shop three separate times trying to get this resolved. On third time in Hoffman Estates branch the guy went to test drive with me and found and confirmed that the noise is still there, after waiting another hour was told that it is a transmission sound, then why would a one sell something that would not fix and solve the problem. And regional manager finally told me there was nothing they could do, apologized, and refused to give me a refund (would issue only 25% of my money spent as a store credit) even though the original problem I came in for was never fixed. Completely wasted my time, money, and patience. Very disappointing customer service by regional manager Scott and poor problem-solving. Appreciate the Hoffman estates branch to not waste my another day and find out the actual problem with clear further instructions.

  Late on Sunday afternoon I had an issue with one of my tires that I was unable to fix. So, I called Mavis and spoke to Kevin and asked if I could bring it by. Kevin explained that they were extremely busy, but that he would do what it could, making no promises that they would get to it today. Upon arriving, I could see how busy the shop was, I spoke to Kevin again, and again he said he’d do what he could. So I spent the next hour and a half watching the guys in the shop working their butts off on numerous vehicles. Finally at about 4:45 they (Brandon) accessed my issue and quickly fixed it. You don’t find this kind of service and professionalism anywhere! Thanks to Kevin and Brandon, you have a customer for life!

  Highly recommend taking your vehicles here for service. Ociel is awesome and very professional. They are always flexible and have reasonable pricing.

  Really great tire shop and the staff are wonderful—especially Ociel. He is very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I came in just before closing time, and even though it was late, they still took the time to help me and made sure my car was safe to drive. That level of customer service is hard to find these days. The whole team was friendly, efficient, and honest about what my car needed. They explained everything clearly and didn’t try to upsell unnecessary services, which I truly appreciate. The service was quick, and the quality of work was excellent. I’ve visited Mavis Tires before, but this location really stands out because of their professionalism and dedication to customers. I will definitely continue coming back here for future tire and car service needs. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for reliable service and great customer care!
