- NSNick ShahJul 22, 20251.0I visited advance auto at glendale heights i experience manager Andrew was on his personal phone with Bluetooth on when I asked for help he was very rude and screaming at me that I disturbed him at his job, wouldn't help at all, he bang computer, I will never go to advance auto again, I hope co operate will take action again him. When I try to return unopen parts with receipt he would return told me to go different store. I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received. The staff member was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. When I asked for assistance, they seemed put off and uninterested in helping me.

That's it not come back a bit later; we are busy. They weren't busy, actually nothing. Basically, I don't want to do it. Not going back there again.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
