The manager for Oreillys said it was too difficult and would take too long to replace without even looking at it. AutoZone had her battery replaced in under 15 minutes. So, if you're in the Freeport area and someone you care about runs into car trouble, DO NOT send them to oreillys. Tell them to go to AutoZone where the have knowledgeable employees who will actually get the job done.

I work in Freeport, but I live in Belvidere and I was having an issue with my battery needing to be replaced on a very cold day and I didn't have much time to deal with it. I spoke with Barry who works there, and he checked to see if they had the exact battery that I needed which they did, and he informed me that as long as the battery wasn't in a difficult position that he would be happy to replace it for me on sight. When I arrived, I spoke with Barry who remembered our earlier conversation, and he immediately went to work to help me. Barry was very professional and had my battery replaced in a very short amount of time. I could not be happier with the customer service that I received, and I would not hesitate to return to AutoZone and to Barry for any of my automotive needs.

My dad knew he did but wasn’t sure so I called the Rockford store they said he did. This is unprofessional and unacceptable if he still has warranty why are you denying it? He is technically stealing and this is so uncalled for. Why did he need to know why he needs them? It’s just a stupid question. If he paid for the warranty he shouldn’t be told he did not have it when in reality he did
