  -try to give me a truck with a broken sensor - won't offer alternative due to them having the wrong contract thinking it's a one-way (probably why they wanted to send off that truck) - Want me to wait while they look into the truck with a check engine light. - give me a truck with less than half a tank of gas and flashing oil change warning - take 30+ min to get out the door with a prebooked reservation With all the options in the area, look for somewhere else.

  I ran into some issues picking up my truck at the originally scheduled location at the end of August which was a bit of an inconvenience but Ben Glatz was incredibly helpful and made sure to get everything sorted for us at the Franklin Park location. Through the chaos of what seemed to be quite a hectic day he managed to keep his cool and even cracked some jokes keeping us at ease through it all which we really appreciated!

  The whole point of using Penske over U-Haul is they're supposed to actually have trucks available when they say they will, unlike U-Haul. THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENED WITH US, THEY DID NOT HONOR THE RESERVATION! We needed a truck and I made a reservation, it was way out in Niles over an hour from where I was in Chicago, but hey better than nothing. get all the way out there only to find out, no they gave the truck to someone else! to top it off, when I called about this they offered to send me back an hour another direction to get another truck with another reservation. when I asked the dispatcher, Ben, what guarantee I had that the truck would actually be there this time, he gave me a very smug condescending lecture about how I needed to be more trusting. he wanted praise for a job without ever actually doing anything 🙄 Penske wasted 2 hours of our lives with nothing to show for it!!

  Rented from This Penske on Mannheim, out of all the rentals I've tried to deal with this place is by far one of the nicest, reasonable, cleanest truck rental place I've rented from and will keep renting from them whenever I'll need another Truck, Van. A Big Thank you to Austin for being so kind, helpful, funny, for all your help with your ability finding a perfect size truck.
