  Disappointing to say the least....1st & last time here for me.....Dorian looked for my filter location under the hood for 10 minutes touching everything with oily gloves on until he gave up and walked away....Rick was in/out chasing somebody in the parking lot and on his phone most of the time....all with a full garage with people waiting......all this for only $128 and 40 minutes of my time. I think ill make the drive over to Lowell, IN to that Valvoline garage.

  Wow. I went to get a quick oil change and literally have been waiting about 45 minutes I finally get in the bay and they tell me they are out of oil.

  Since once star is the minimum, that’s what will have to be left. I’ve brought our vehicles here before for oil changes, though after the most recent one this January, we had a problem. Had taken it to another mechanic for a transmission service and fluid change, and they notified me of an oil leak coming from the filter housing assembly which was discovered to be cracked. I was told this is a common issue due to overtightening of the filter cap, which can crack the unit. Called Valvoline to inform them of this and start a claim to see about having it replaced. In conversations with the store, they had asked if they could check the vehicle out themselves which wasn’t an issue, and then also mentioned they had a shop near them that they use to address these issues – which tells me this is a common issue there. Manager called to inform me of their determination to deny the claim, stating they reviewed all the paperwork including the torque specs that were apparently documented during the oil change, and they did nothing wrong. When I asked for those specifications to be sent to me to verify, I was told it was confidential information and they cannot share it. Paid about $115.00 total on the oil change there, and because of their negligence, will probably be looking at another $500-$600 to get this repaired out of pocket. Buyer beware – your experience and mileage may vary with this place – but know if they make a mistake, it’ll be your fault and they won’t own up to it.
