  This location tried to sell me an engine flush that was not actually needed. The details are below, but the short story is I trusted them to be my auto advisor and they tried to scam me. I came in for an oil change. I only had 2,000 miles since my last change, but it had been 10 months and I was worried about the oil degrading over that time. I use Mobile-1 15,000 mile full synthetic oil. The technician walked through the car inspection and told me a needed an oil change and engine flush based on "mileage and oil condition." I asked him to show me the oil dipstick. He pulled it out and said it was dirty. I have changed my own oil several times before and know that you get a better read of the oil state by wiping the dipstick on a white cloth rather than reading straight off of the dipstick. I asked him to wipe the dipstick on a cloth. When he did, the oil was clearly clean. I asked him again if that oil was dirty, and he said that it wasn't and I likely didn't even need an oil change. I asked why he said I needed the engine flush, and he said it's just something they recommend. I asked if they had some way to test the oil condition, and the tech said they just look at it. He confirmed again that the oil was clean and didn't need to be flushed. Car maintenance can be complicated. You want to be able to trust the shop you're going to. This shop failed. They told me I needed an expensive engine flush without actually considering the state of the engine.

  Did a general inspection where the replaced my wipers and filled up my coolant. They also noticed I had a damaged axel boot. They were quick and very helpful in sending me to A1 auto who were able to fix it!

  Today I came in for a service and paid almost $200. Before I had anything done I had specific items in my vehicle that were put away and I know for a fact was still there before I got out of my car. After my service was finish I went to grab my item and it was gone. I brought it to the managers attention that my item was taken and he asked his employees if they had taken it and they said no. I do not appreciate the fact that I came there for a service paying almost $200 just to have my things stolen from me regardless of what it is. The manager stated that he would look at the cameras but no one has reached out to me. I have gone to this location for years and never had something like this happen to me. I don’t not recommend going to this location and I will not be returning because their employees have sticky fingers and don’t know how to keep their hand off of other peoples property
