  Transmission King rebuilt my trans. These guys are highly recommended. Great communication on updates on the job. They are also great at what they do my car is running great, and very reasonably priced and very upfront. As well as backed on a great warranty on the job.

  King transmission rebuilt the transmission in my 2014 Silverado and September of 2023 at 126,000 Mi fast forward 2 years later at 183,000k I began to get a clunking sputtering sensation I called King transmission and they told me to bring the vehicle back I bought the vehicle back to them and they told me at 60,000 miles the transmission had went out this is the same transmission that they just replaced 24 months earlier and needs to be rebuilt again they told me that the converter went out and it sprayed shrapnel through the transmission they said it was normal for a transmission to go out at 60,000 miles They told me that they would help me with the labor and charge me for the parts I picked my vehicle up and within a week it was doing the exact same thing not wanting to go back to King transmission I went to another transmission shop and they diagnosed my vehicle as the transfer case being out not the transmission when I called King transmission and told them this they said they had two cars in the shop that the transmission and the transfer case went out and that the Silverados are prone to have the transfer case go out at around 150 to 200k So my initial response was why would you be looking at the transmission if you knew the transfer case was likely to have gone out at the exact same time anybody with a rudimentary knowledge of vehicles knows the odds of a transmission and a transfer case going out at the exact same time is zero My issue with King transmission is clearly they performed a service on my vehicle that did not remedy the problem secondarily any legitimate transmission shop would stand behind their product it is not acceptable for a transmission to go out with only 60,000 miles my vehicle is not driven in the city I do not tow in it I only drive it on the highway on long road trips every other transmission shop I spoke to told me that a rebuilt transmission should last at a bare minimum of 100,000 Finally one of the reasons I decided to do business with them was they had very high Google reviews if you are reading my review please go and look at their Better Business Bureau complaints as well as their Yelp reviews for a more accurate picture of what kind of operation this is

  Went to KT back in May and had a good experience with the company. Straightforward process of getting my car fixed and price was not bad. Only took about a week to get my car back. Since they are in town, it is a reliable business to go.

  Kings Transmission provided the best service ! We got a reasonable quote and they fixed our van sooner than expected! Can’t go wrong with them.
