  The little girl pretending to be an adult provided THE WORST service EVER!! Extremely unprofessional!! From the moment I walked in she was finding every reason NOT to rent to me rather than find a solution! I will never go here again and I will tell EVERYONE I know to stay away!

  Let me start by saying that the staff here is very good they are very helpful and respectful. unfortunately, they are usually understaffed so this makes the waiting time much longer. many times, they are not able to provide you with the type of vehicle you requested due to shortage of vehicles, or your reservation is pushed back a couple of hours making you late to your destination. They also need to put much more attention when vehicles come back smelling like cigarettes or marihuana. I have denied a few times rentals that smell like smoke specially marihuana. Is not only the staff's fault. The staff also needs help in this location. District managers or regional managers of Enterprise you need to HELP your employes to make this a better rental location. You are lucky to have this great team in Elgin Chicago st location. Thank you!

  I made a reservation a week in advance, and then—a day before the scheduled pickup—I stopped by to confirm. They assured me that the car would be ready for me the following day. However, when I returned the next day—Saturday—they gave me nothing but trouble, only to finally tell me that they wouldn't rent to me after all because I am hispanic

  I was told I need a secondary form of i.d like a library or Costco card to go along with my major credit card and federal drivers license. I've been renting with enterprise for over 10 years and never hear that.

  Let me tell you about this store and their staff! I’ve been to many Enterprises for rentals and this store by far is one of the best. Rob (manager), Beth (assistant manger), Alex, Grace, and even their detailers Mike, Carlos, and Jorge are fantastic. The atmosphere in this store is always positive and upbeat even when the team is dealing with challenging customers. They go above and beyond to make sure every customer is taken care of. I’ve seen how rude and entailed some of these customers can be towards this team and they use negative reviews to try and hide and bring this team down when really it sounds like they just don’t meet the requirements to rent a car. So shout out to this Elgin team haven’t been to a better Enterprise.
