  Went in for a quick inspection of my ID-4. Service was quick and smooth and the customer service is outstanding. I even got a free car wash. Only thing I didn’t like was getting solicited as soon as I sat in the waiting room. (Via text message)they wanted to buy my car. I asked them to trade for a brand new one, they declined and the sales guy in the lobby simulating something I wont mention is a sign of immaturity so I hope he grows up soon.

  Do not go to this dealership! They are scamming people. We drove a long way to look at a car, but the second we arrived, they tried to talk us into something newer and more expensive because they "suddenly realized" there was a recall. We do not think the advertised vehicle even exists. Not to mention, extra fees and higher registration costs than normal. Do not go here. Stick to locally owned and operated honest dealerships with personnel that are actually qualified to sell cars, not to scam people!

  If I could give Elgin Volkswagen a 6 star review, I would have. This was by far the most stress-free car buying experience. My wife and I highly recommend dealing with Rachel. There wasn't any pressure to buy and she made us feel at ease. She greeted us with a warm smile and a no pressure attitude. She answered all of our questions and concerns. When it was time to go through the paperwork, Fabian also greeted us with a warm smile and he too answered all of our financial questions and concerns. Elgin Volkswagen has a great team and I would recommend them to my family and friends.

  STAY AWAY!!! GENERAL MANAGER doesn’t care to return calls. Have bought 6 cars from this dealer. Got a 2024 Atlas R line. Parking sensor failed and they refuse to replace it because a rock hit it. It’s a $50 part. Stay far are from this dealership!!!!!! What kind of service manager looses a customer over a $50 part. What kind of dealership refuses to cover a safety feature with a car under warranty. If you have kids, stay far away from this dealer. It’s called a goodwill fix for returning customers with brand and dealer loyalty. Terribly managed location. I recommend Schaumburg Volkswagon. Better service.

  Well they had our car for about 3 months and tried blaming the part coming from Germany then gave me a number to call to tell Volkswagen I need the part then they magically had the part a day or 2 later and the car was done. We were told the first guy to help us got fired for leaving us and others in the dark so we got a new guy appointed to us. He was really good but we didnt get him till the end. Now we got our car back with a dead battery they told us just drive and it will charge well after driving an hour amd half the car dies and won't turn back on. They also got a flat with our new tires and didn't say anything I only figured it out because the back tire was low and when I opened my trunk they still had all the tools to change the tire for the spare out not put back. On top of all of that they fully scratched the paint off on the car where they obviously hit it with something or hit something with the car. I took it the tdi here because they had good reviews but after this experience I won't be back. Oh and cant forget to mention that they tried charging us and extra $800.00 for parts that were being recalled and then when I said hey that shouldn't be on there, we find out they didn't even do that work and the car didn't need that. I have to say the guy that help us at the end was great and the only reason im giving them any stars on the rating. I was very disappointed with the Elgin Volkswagen Dealership they kept the car for 3 months till I called Volkswagen Customer service, they dented and scratched our car, got us a flat tire with a constant leak, used the tools in our car and didn't bother to put them away, and tried over charging us for work they didn't even do. I highly recommend never wasting your time at the Elgin Volkswagen Dealership
