    I am usually loathed to write negative reviews for businesses online when most misunderstandings can be worked out with a simple phone call. I signed a contract for a car purchased online with Heller Ford on 11/3, gave a deposit and wired the amount for the car in full on 11/7. During the time that it was not disclosed to me that the car with only 5800 miles on it needed a new battery service by Audi and when I inquired on 11/7 when my new car was being shipped, I was informed that they would have to wait at least a week to get the car into Audi for a battery replacement. This of course gave me all sorts of anxiety, is the car wrecked, have I been scammed, etc. Finally on 11/14, I was sent pictures of the car in the way of a virtual inspection with no date for shipping. It is now 11/17, 10 DAYS after I wired the money in full and I still have no confirmation on when my car is shipping. During that time, I called to speak to the GM and was greeted by the desk who basically told me I can't speak to him, in spite of what his friendly profile says on their about us section of the website. The owner sent me an auto email welcoming me to the Heller family and when I responded, he simply forwarded the message to my sales rep and never addressed this ridiculous situation. My sales rep has been friendly and understanding but this is beyond ridiculous and frustrating. My wife bought a car online earlier this year and it was pleasant and from transaction to door delivery was about 4 days. I still don't know when my car is even going to be shipped 10 DAYS after buy it.

    Now with me giving them a 1 star is because of what happened after the sale. The sale went smooth all in all. After we purchased our vehicle we got it home now we live 1 hr and 40 minutes away. We spent $63,500 on this vehicle you would think that you would get treated better than this. We bought it at 5pm on a friday and on Saturday morning we had a little rain and the windshield started leaking into the vehicle and filled up the wireless charger in the center console. They came and got it on the following Wednesday. Now we traded in a 7 seater and bought a bigger 7 seater. They gave us a 6 seater as a loaner car when they already told me they were going to give us the same size vehicle that we had. This created issues on the following Tuesday when we keep a niece and nephew. We didnt have enough seats then. They had our vehicle for a week and a half before fixing it and bringing it back to us. On that Tuesday I had to take off work which costed me about $800. When they I told them I wasn't interested in any service because that will inconvenience us anytime we needed a service done being 1 hr and 40 minutes away. When they brought it back to us they was white marks on the dash, steering wheel, and door panel on the driver side. It took me an hour to get it all cleaned back up scrubbing everything 3 to 4 times to het it to come off. They would not compensate us for any inconvenience that it caused us.

    Drove three hours to the dealership and was not disappointed Jeff was a very knowledgeable and friendly salesman ( not to mention a shipmate) but he was great to talk too,and Adam the finance guy was great to do business with and took care of me. Overall thanks guys and I would recommend this dealership to all!

    I am glad the other reviews were nice. I agree the employees were nice especially Adam and DJ. The problem I had is it took me almost 3 months to get my plate. I called numerous times and there was no sense of urgency. I won't name the person that I feel let the ball drop but I was very upset. I was trying to start my Hotshot business and I ended up paying 3 months of payments and had no income coming in. I paid insurance too which isn't cheap. After all of this they didn't even offer any kind of compensation like free oil change, etc. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a vehicle out of state with them. I would like to reply to your comment. I never said your people weren't nice. Look at second sentence. My problem was the truck was for a business so no I couldn't drive it because it had to pass inspection and I needed the proper paperwork, not a piece of paper in the window. I also was the one that found out that they couldn't see the vin. number not your personnel. I called and she said "Oh they sent it back" like she was surprised by it and I immediately sent new pictures and waited to see if they were okay. While still waiting another time it was explained to me that it was sent to your 3rd party who then sent it to their 3rd party, they would look it over and send it back to your 3rd party. No I did not make this up. Yes there was another women I talked to and she said she would try and expedite it and I thanked her and appreciated it. She wasn't the normal women I was dealing with in this situation. I have no complaints about the truck and never said I did. To be honest, I haven't been able to drive the truck because I just received the title yesterday so now I can get it inspected. I just feel there needs to be a better explanation of what the process will be. I don't know maybe it did take me 3 weeks to get insurance I don't remember so I will give you that, but to say I was most of the problem is totally not true. I called and would wait and wait for a response. The last situation I had the director of finance called and said he would get back to me end of day and I never got a call. Your company knew I was buying this vehicle for a business and there is no excuse for the lack of urgency on your companies part. As soon as the papers were signed I feel it was very hard to get a response from your company. Once again I would not recommend buying if you live out of state.

    I recently made the 2 hour trip to Heller Ford looking for a new pickup. I knew Heller would be a good stop just based off their impressive inventory selection. I was in contact with Dj at first, he asked me exactly what I wanted and sent me a large inventory list that fit what I was looking for. After being interested in a couple trucks I told him when I was coming in and he advised to me that he would not be there but put me in contact with Noah in his place. Once I got the dealership, Noah was assisting another buyer (I was a half hour late) and I was met with Trent. Trent got everything together for the vehicles that I was looking at and assisted me until Noah was available. Noah and I along with my wife looked at a couple vehicles but did not find one that hit my financial requirements (Not from lack of trying on their part). We shook hands and walked away. A couple of days later I found another pickup at their sister location in Pontiac, I messaged Noah and advised I was interested in it and he advised he would send for it and had the truck on their lot within a couple hours. I made the drive down and was happy with the truck and the price. The loan process and application was painless. During the down time Noah made us feel extremely comfortable and we never had a moment of awkward silence during our conversations. We were then moved into the financial office and was met with RJ. He met us with a smile on his face and a handshake. He went through the entire process with us, explained everything in great detail and was very knowledgeable. We were able to come to an agreement relatively easy and we drove away with a new pickup. There was a issue with the pickup and I was in contact with Heller the next business day. They immediately jumped to action and made it right without making my life harder. Mike was my contact from the service department and always answered my texts within minutes and kept me updated. Fantastic job from the entire team. If all dealerships ran like Heller Ford, the car buying process would not be as stressful as others see it to be. Can't recommend them enough.
