  I "reserved" a small SUV for a Saturday morning. When I arrived I was informed they had no vehicles other than a truck, but would have some returns on Sunday and would most likely be able to accommodate me Monday morning. Since I didn't need a car for the weekend I returned on Monday and was indeed handed the keys to a small SUV. I'm not sure why they use the term reserved when you ask for a car since by shear definition it should mean a car will be waiting for you. Regardless, the employees were very nice - especially PJ or TJ. I will definitely be renting from this location again despite the snafu just because the customer service eclipsed any issues.

  Peoria International Airport enterprise Rent-A-Car made a reservation for me at this location for a truck. Everything was confirmed. I called 10 minutes before I get there to make sure everything was confirmed the guy named PJ. The branch manager says you're not getting a truck I don't care what they told you you're not getting a truck he told me he had a Nissan Altima for me, not what I reserved not what I paid for it. Then when I asked to speak to somebody in charge, he says you know what you don't have a vehicle available now and then he hung up on me. I've been using enterprise Rent-A-Car for over 10 years and this is the disgust in Mannerism And professionalism. I will say that the Morton office was polite and courteous and so was the Peoria International Airport location but this location needs a lot of training and people without attitude to hang up on customers it's People like us that pay your wages and keep you all in business.

  Counter employees Lee and PJ went out above and beyond in helping me. I've had to rent cars in Peoria previously many times. Prior to this I've only rented from PIA rentals. However from now on I'm switching to Enterprise in East Peoria .

  The whole process from start to finish was very quick and easy. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I only wish they had a bit more selection of vehicles to choose from, because I ended up renting same vehicle I already own. I will definitely rent from there if I need to get a vehicle again.

  On Oct 2, 2025 the East Peoria Enterprise turned what was to be a wonderful girlfriends' trip into a splitting migraine headhead and car rental horror story. I and a friend went to the rental agency prior to the date of the rental in order to ensure that everything would go as planned. We researched the size of vehicle that we needed to accommodate the travelers. We were assured that everything was set and in place. The day of pickup the staff attempted to provide a smaller vehicle; cramped leg room and no cargo space. This was the very thing we were trying to avoid! One of the staff told us that there was a larger vehicle that just needed cleaning and that he would call us when the vehicle was ready. I quoted a time that I had to have the vehicle. He assured me that I would definitely have it way before the time we were scheduled to leave. After I never received a call, I tried calling them, no answer. We drove over there again. We were told that the sales agent should not have promised us that vehicle, because it was unavailable to us. We were told that the airport location had a vehicle that we could rent. However, he suggested that we rent the smaller vehicle from their location, drive to the airport, turn in the smaller vehicle then rent from them. I was speechless! We didn't accept that idea. We headed toward the airport and I called Enterprise to ensure that we were not on a wild goose chase and was told that they had no vehicle that size available. I wanted to cry and scream. The 1 800 number agent explained to me that it was busy weekend (this is Thursday) and rentals were scarce. Well, that's why I reserved the vehicle weeks in advance. She promised to call me back, she never did. We were told that there was nothing they could do. We went to another rental company who immediately put us into the appropriate size vehicle so that we can get on the road for our 4-5 hour drive. We left hours after we'd planned to leave, due to Enterprises failures, missteps and out right lies! If they had been honest at 9 am that morning we could have gone elsewhere at that time. As unbelieveable as this is, I couldn't tell the full story. Too much information. By the way, the other rental agency told us that we were the 5th customer from Enterprise that day.
