- ACAdam CookMar 20, 20262.0While my experience with staff was exceptional, there were fees I should not have been charged on my invoice. After getting home I looked it over, and I got hit with a special filter charge (for a $10 retail filter, 19 dollars for actual oil, 95 for the "oil change" $3.99 in shop supplies and 1 dollar in oil disposal fee. 95 is enough for an oil change. It says 6.9 quarts of oil, and a filter that retails for 10 bucks. Plus your time and the little extra for taking care of the place. But an extra fee for special filter and ESPECIALLY SHOP SUPPLIES!?!? come on guys. This is why these are all giant corporations now. Because all the fees and bull crap make these places so incredibly profitable. Even with my "$25 off" coupon. Ridiculous. Again, the boys at the shop are second to none, absolutely incredible. Polite, kind, upfront and honest. Edit after business owner response: I laid out very plainly in this review what the problem is. Lots of fees and unnecessary charges when doing an oil change. If an oil change is $95 it should cost 95 + uncle sam gets his cut. Shop supplies should be part of the profit margin in the product you sell. And the fact that you charge for the other things is ridiculous. I'm letting other consumers know so they can decide whether to use your business or find some other giant corporation to get screwed a tiny bit less at.
