The day before pickup, I stopped by the Enterprise location to confirm and was told they didn’t have a Wrangler but would have a nice SUV or a RAM truck ready the next morning. When I arrived at 8 AM, none of those options were available. A few SUVs were on the lot, but I was told they were already assigned to other bookings. I was given a compact SUV instead and told it was the same class as a Wrangler just because both seat five. That SUV had a maintenance-due warning and odd noises, so I asked for something else. I was then told my only choices were the same compact SUV or a Malibu, even though I could still see SUVs on the lot. I ended up taking the Malibu. The price wasn’t adjusted, and I had used reward points meant for a Wrangler, which requires almost double the points of a Malibu. I also asked them to call me if an SUV became available. No one reached out, and later that evening I saw the same Wagoneer still parked outside—the one I was told wasn’t available. I rent from this location regularly, often every weekend, and I’ve never had an experience this frustrating. I paid Wrangler pricing and used Wrangler-level reward points to drive a Malibu for four days. Very disappointing.
