  Although Safelite does a good job…check the reviews of the individual service center! Crest Hill, IL was horrible! The technician did a good job, but, the storefront personnel are terrible! I was told a 2-3 hour wait. 41/2 hours later, I had NO UPDATE at all from anyone, no acknowledgement of my presence right in front of there desk. But, it finally was done. Never an explanation of the delay. Use Safelite…but stay away from Crest Hill, IL!

  After State Farm/Safelite insisted an aftermarket windshield install would work for my new car with heads-up display and it did not, I had to fight with State Farm to get OEM approved. Once approved I had to follow up with his location multiple times for approval/booking. During the second install the tech damaged my vehicle scratching paint and parts and apparently did not reinstall the part pictured correctly as it fell off the very next time I drove. During the install in my driveway the tech got mud all over the interior. It’s taken far too long (3+ weeks) with zero follow up from this location and Safelite corporate to repair my damaged vehicle. I would never use this location much less Safelite again.

  This place will lie right to your face. My truck was there four hours I was told 2-4 hour job. Four hours later I came back it wasnt even moved. Then the lies started. Took my keys and left. Telling me I wasnt there on time. They lie. Will spend money at a honest facility.

  The service I receive was great. I was unsure of trying to get a quote over the internet but the website was easy to use. The quote was given and your even able to make the appointment online as well. I opted to pay after service was finished which surprised me that that was an option. Technician was knowledgeable and professional. Over all a good experience.

  had a very disappointing experience with Safelite, specifically the Crest Hill location. After Safelite installed a new windshield on my 2025 Lexus TX, I noticed airflow noise inside the car and brought the vehicle back to them for inspection. One of the employees confirmed that I was correct and acknowledged the airflow noise. He stated he would inform his manager and mentioned that he might need to order another windshield in case an issue occurred during reinstallation. I was then told to wait two weeks for a follow-up call. After two weeks, no one contacted me. I called Safelite warranty and explained the situation. I was promised that the manager would be contacted and that a new appointment would be scheduled. Unfortunately, I was ignored again, and no one ever followed up or called me back. For a company like Safelite and for a new luxury vehicle, I expected much better communication, accountability, and customer service. This level of service from this location is unacceptable. I would not recommend the Crest Hill Safelite based on my experience.
