  Waited over 2 hours for an oil change. All the bays were full when I arrived with only one car ahead of me. Don’t feel it should have taken 2 hours for that? I get in the bay and I wait another 25 minutes for someone to help me and start changing my oil. A boy with blonde hair ended up helping me and he was very kind and got things started immediately. Not his fault i understand I think the management needs to do better and maybe hire more people. Not sure but I don’t think I’ll be back. Have never waited this long anywhere else.

  They were very quick and competent. I especially appreciate that Valvoline hires women Technicians and I had the good luck of having two working on my car:)

  Clint manager at Collinsville IL, Beltline location was very professional, helpful & explanatory. His team worked well together to keep my vehicle up to date and operating safely. In addition, offered competive pricing to replace battery. I was in and out of the shop in about 30 minutes! Will definitely be return customer, thank you Valvoline, K Brendley

  My 2016 Chrysler 200 was brought in for an oil change on 11/15. When I drove my car the next time, I noticed it smelled like burnt oil, I did not think much about it as that happens sometimes the technician will accidentally drip oil while changing it. The smell did not go away and it got worse. I also noticed I had drip spots where I park my car in the garage. I then took my car back to Valvoline in Collinsville on 12/3 to let them know of the issue I was having. The technician looked at it, and she said that where the filter was at it looked like it had been yanked on, she said let’s go ahead and change the filter and they topped off the oil as it was a quarter of a quart low. She said hopefully this will take care of it. Several days went by and it was still smelling and leaking so I took the car back to Valvoline in Collinsville on 12/18. The technician’s looked at it one came and told me that it looked like it was leaking from the valve cover which is on top but he could not say for sure. He told me there was nothing more they could do and that I should take my car to a service garage and have them complete an engine degreaser and add a UV Dye to locate where the leak is coming from. I had no issues prior to 11/15 with an oil leak.

  I have visited this Valvoline for many years, and have not had issues until recently. My most recent visit, I waited over 2 hours to get an oil change. They were busy -- 2 cars waiting behind each bay. But, there were 5 employees, only working one car at a time. I am not sure if this is a staffing issue, a training issue, or a system issue, but it was not efficient and led to wait times of over 2 hours for everyone there. The workers were very friendly and professional and the actual maintenance on the car was satisfactory-- i just think they need some more manpower.
