  UPDATE: I went in the next day to speak with Stanley. He right away showed his colors like he did through the phone. He denied his actions and stormed off because he didn’t want to face his problems. Seems to me it’s well known of his behaviors. After letting Stan know of himself Rich and another gentleman was behind the desk. Rich was definitely taken back to what was happening. I do apologize to him because he had nothing to do with this. Rich was calm and respectful towards me. He allowed me to explain to him what happened. Rich didn’t take sides. He did what I expected Stan to do. Rectify the situation and move forward. Rich apologized for the confusion and we proceeded to speak about my truck. I apologized to him and his coworker. I also apologized to the 1 customer waiting. As they were in The crossfire of Stan and I situation. What confuses me is Stanley told me he is a manager there. NO WAY THATS POSSIBLE. If it is then Dobbs you need to do better at vetting your staff. I was wrong for showing up the way i did. But I’m tired of handing over money to companies who continue to disrespect me. I will not tolerate that from anyone. I wish I could give 0 stars. I’ve used Dobbs several times in the past. They are pricey but I use them from time to time. I work over the road. My personal truck needed some emissions work. I called a week prior and setup an appointment for Thursday the 8th. I was told to drop off truck by Wednesday night and they will diagnose it in the morning and give me a call. When setting things up they already had my info just based off my name. They had a description of my issue. I drop off truck truck Wednesday night. Left my key in the envelope they provided. Wrote down my name and make model of truck. I call them Thursday at the end of day. Some guy named Stan answers and totally snaps on me saying he didn’t know all I did was leave a key and a name. That he had no clue what was going on with it and why didn’t I leave my number. I told him I had an appointment Thursday and my name is in the system. He continues to blame me and says sorry and hangs up on me. Count your days Stan. I’ll be up there Friday when I’m back from work. Instead of trying to fix the situation you blame the customer and hang up on me?? I got you!!

  A flat tire at 4:45 PM on 4/6 and from out of town….Mike and team had me in and out in under 40 minutes. Tremendous service, efficient, clean, and for a reasonable price. Thank you! Just amazing!

  My wife was able to get her tire taken care of quickly under $30 with a patch. Even though it was the end of the day and they were very busy, they still got her in and were so kind. Highly recommend! 10/10!

  Brought 19 year old Crossfire in with check engine light this morning at 7:15am.. No appt and hoping they could work it in. I left my car with the store manager Mike who was confident they could run diagnostics on it today and give me a call with their findings. I heard back from Mike by 9am with the diagnosis, work estimate, and an expectation that they could do the repair today and I could pick my car up by closing time. I told him I would call him back with a decision because it was an unplanned expense like most car repairs are and I needed to talk to my husband. After figuring out my plan, I called Mike back to discuss. He explained their fixed forever guarantee, even ways to pay if I needed to finance. I appreciated the time he took to explain things that are probably a pain point for most customers. I gave Mike the go ahead and my car was repaired and ready to pick up tgus evening. A coworker was dropping me off at the shop and with today's weather it took extra time to get from the office in West County to Dobbs in Collinsville. Thats when I met Stanley. It was nearly closing time but Stanley said it would be no problem and he would stay as long as I needed. That extra mile is why I go to Dobbs and have been a longtime loyal customer. My car is back on the road. I received same day service. Most importantly, I had 2 great Dobbs associates that helped at the beginning and end of my experience today. That made all the difference!

  Took my car here because I caught a flat tire a few miles down the road and was very pleased with the service. I was able to air my tire up to make it to the shop & by the time I got there everything was fine. I thought the tire would have at least needed to be plugged but they explained to me how the weather can effect the tire pressure. I wanted to leave this review just based on their honesty. They couldn't find anything so I wasn't charged for anything. I know how hard it is to find honest mechanics sometimes that don't just tell you anything is wrong with your car just to make a dollar. If you are looking for honest, friendly & professional mechanics this is the place! I appreciate their kindness and integrity when it comes to the way they conduct business.
