  I rented from the BUCKTOWN Chicago Enterprise Car Rental the last week of March 2026 for Spring Break. We were traveling from Chicago to Florida when we experienced unexpected vehicle troubles midway through the trip near Nashville. The issues were serious enough that it required a vehicle “swap” via another Enterprise location in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.. Aidan fielded our situation like a champ and facilitated a flawless exchange along with the manager at the Tennessee location. When I returned, Angela, took great care of us back in Chicago….Bravo to the BUCKTOWN Team! I am a long time Chicagoan that will continue to be loyal to this outlet because of their outstanding service!

  Wowow, I just had an amazing customer service experience at this location. Good enough that I had to leave a review. We were stuck in NYC after La Guardia was closed after an accident. We ended up driving all day to make it home the same day. When we returned the car the following day, Ellie was able to make sure everything was in line and had me out and on with my day in just a few short minutes. Service with a smile! Truly good stuff. I told them it was the one shining moment of the last 36 hours or so. Thanks again Ellie!

  Best car rental experience I’ve had. Everyone was polite and helpful. My car was in the shop so I was dealing with a body shop and insurance as well. This Enterprise location (I also dealt with another location in the city during the process) was the only pleasant part of the experience. I hope I never have to rent a car in my own city again but if I do, I know where I’m going!

  On February 28, 2026 I went the to pick an SUV reservation that I made for 12p.m.. The guy that was there contacted me early to ensure that I bring in my driver's license, debit/credit card and my insurance. As I get there, was not even there for 5 minutes. The guy says we don't accept prepaid cards. My chime card is not a prepaid card. As I explained that to him, I also let him know that I find that strange as I have been renting from this enterprise since 2020 with my chime debit card. He then said it's in our policy not to accept prepaid cards. Like I said, my chime card is not a prepaid card. Thanks for letting me know that my kind is not welcome to rent at this location: 1842 N Milwaukee, Chicago, IL. I will not be renting from this place ever. I only wanted to rent a SUV because my vehicle has to go to the shop for repairs. If I could give this place no stars, I truly would have. When asked to see the policy that states that, their response was, "it must be a local bank card." That is bs, Rochelle and Dane could not even present to me a policy that states their words. Just admit, that you all did not want to rent to me because who I am. 1842 N Milwaukee, Chicago, IL 60647 is not the place to get a rental from. The fact that I have been renting vehicles from this place, return all vehicles back clean and fully gassed up. It is just mind blowing from the B's they come up with. Negative rating. Period.
