I've had several minor and major repairs done on my '14 Subaru Forester at their shop, and I've always been pleased with my experience. From the comprehensive report they provide indicating any issues, to the friendliness and kindness with which they treat every customer, they provide a level of service that goes above and beyond. Most recently, I had transmission work completed at their shop, in order to pass an emissions test and renew my car registration. They were able to complete the work promptly (in one day during the week of Thanksgiving!), and when my car didn't pass initially (due to my mistake, not theirs) they took another look at the car to ensure it would pass-- and it did! I really can't say enough good things about the work they do here. If you're looking for a stellar mechanic, look no further!
- MRM RisDec 8, 20254.0Zepeda's is a place I've been going to for about 2 years now with two different vehicles. The older one is a 2006 Chevy Truck with a pretty high mileage and a 2017 Toyota Car. All of the work done on both cars has held up with zero issues (outside of old age on the truck) and the people within the shop are great about answering questions and providing photos and detailed information on parts and services. They also keep a good log of work done, and services that could provide preventative care that is easy to set up and get done as well. Honestly, just being able to talk with them about what exactly needs to be done with a list and them being able to provide information on when and how much they are charging without the extra stuff is great alone. I've had work done just to pass emissions before and they did everything in their power to get that done before it was due with excellent quality and clear communication. If you want work done they are always the place to go to, I think pricing is fair for the level of detail and peace of mind they offer.

I have never in my life gotten more transparency about the evaluation and work mechanics are doing on my car -- they send a huge report to you with pictures and videos of all the parts inside your vehicle! You receive this full report and ONLY THEN do they ask what work you want done, only when you've had the chance to talk with them and make the most informed decision. These guys clearly care about the work and their customers and are a staple of the Logan Square/Humboldt neighborhoods. WE LOVE ZEPADA!
