- RMRichard Mascorro5 days ago1.0Been going here for about year, I have never had any issues until my last visit. At this visit I was told that my that my Toyota's oil filter cover was damaged and warped. However, before I was told personally about this, one of workers was shouting "just tell him it was already broken" from under my car. Then the manager Daniel came over and I had to ask him if there was a problem is something broken. He said " its your oil filter cover its not broken, but it's very warped and you should replace it". I told Daniel the manager "I have been coming here for over a year now and this is the 1st time anyone from your business has said anything". I told him also "I don't understand how come they didn't say something right from the start and I know that you have to use a special tool. I also know that if you don't put the special tool on correctly, it can damage the oil filter cover." He just started at me and offered to find the part online at autozone. Which he did, but then when I asked again about why nothing was said about the damage in the past when I got my oil change HERE at this EXACT location. I could see I would not be getting the excellent customer service I have come to expect from the Valvoline Instant Oil change on 6330 S Cicero Ave. What frustrates me the most is the dishonesty from these very young and at times inexperienced workers and this lack of professionalism and carelessness has cost my oil filter cover and confidence that this job was done correctly. I would not ever use their services again there is CarX down the street that charges the same.
