- DPDarren PhalenNov 11, 20251.0Rented a car from Sixt and returned it after hours as I had arranged. 17 days after returning the rental they sent me a damage claim stating a tire rim had been scratched. When I asked for documentation as to why it took 17 days, and proof that the photos were taken the day after my rental I received no response. Their claims department has a phone message saying they work two days a week and and even though they give an email address they do not respond to it. I have honestly never dealt with such poor customer service. When I called their standard 800 number and asked to speak with a supervisor they said sure, put me on hold and never picked back up. This happened multiple times. What a terrible company

Classic bait-and-switch tactic — get you in the door with prices and cars that don’t exist. Total waste of time. If the cars aren’t actually available, don’t advertise them.
