  This location of Sixt SCAMMED my family on Christmas Eve 2024 and we are still dealing with it. We rented a car for less than 24 hours and returned it on Christmas Eve of last year in perfect condition to the Hyatt lot and returned the keys to the desk at sixt. A couple of days later, I noticed a large charge and found that I was accused of severely damaging the car. Since then I’ve called the location frequently and they maintain that no one can do anything expect for a high level manager at Sixt and it's impossible to get a hold of them. No photos were provided as proof, nothing but autoresponses to my several emails. Now, 11 months later, they sent the $1000 bill to collections. This is fraudulent.

  High quality of service. Well trained staff. Excellent premium car. Shout out to Keiahn King who was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the BMW.

  UPDATE: It has been impossible to get in touch with Sixt customer service. I have emailed asking for photos of the “damage” which they have not provided. Multiple emails to the damage claims address and customer service address have gone unanswered. I have additionally tried calling their customer service number and have been unable to get through to a representative. I cannot stress enough — do not rent from Sixt. Very disappointed with our Sixt rental car experience. As many other negative Google reviews have described, there’s a pattern where they give you a great deal on the rental car but then proceed to slap you with a questionable damage fee. When I picked up my car, they did not park it in a parking spot that would normally allow me to take full photos and videos of the car. Instead, they handed me the keys while the car was in the middle of a busy hotel pickup/drop off circle where hotel guests immediately honked to get me to move. When returning the car after hours, you do not return it to a Sixt employee, but rather hotel valet staff. This makes it unclear when “damage” could occur. It’s a shame they do this, knowing that most people have insurance through their credit cards and will likely be able to pay the claims this way. The damage claim they submitted showed a tiny <1 cm scratch, which I (mistakenly) deemed negligible when I was finally able to inspect the car on my own after driving away. I’m hoping that this review will encourage others to rent elsewhere in the city and not make the same mistake picking Sixt like I did. I have never had similar problems with more reputable rental car companies such as Hertz and Enterprise which are only blocks away. I will no longer be renting from Sixt.

  Long wait for cars. I arrived at appointed time, was told wait 25 min for car, still waiting after an hour. Same for everyone else here, about six other groups waiting.
