  I came to Pulaski Automotive after my car was towed and my check engine light came on. Since they were nearby and had reviews online, I decided to give them a try. During my first visit, the front desk employee, Maria Padilla, was very welcoming and explained that the repairs would cost around $1,200. I asked for a printed estimate to shop around, but she told me their internet/printer was down due to recent flooding and asked me to return later. I came back about two weeks later to see if I could get the written estimate for my insurance. This time, my interaction with Maria was very different. She became dismissive and condescending, repeatedly interrupting me, raising her voice, and at one point saying “what do you want me to do about it?” when I explained I only needed the paperwork from my diagnostic test. She also mentioned someone named Johnny had already given me paperwork, but I had never spoken to anyone besides her. When my girlfriend, who was with me, tried to clarify, Maria refused to acknowledge her and made it clear she wouldn’t speak to her at all. After a long back-and-forth and waiting about an hour, I finally received the results of the $80 diagnostic test I had paid for — but only after my mom got involved and contacted the owner. And the price was different than what was discussed with Maria. The biggest issue for me was not the mechanics themselves, but the customer service I experienced at the front desk. My first visit was great, but the second visit was the complete opposite. I left feeling disrespected, frustrated, and told myself I wouldn’t be returning. I’m sharing this review so others know what my experience was like. I believe this business could do better with customer service training, because the way people are spoken to makes a huge difference.

  I been knowing Randy and Jim for 21 years they do Amazing work on cars i really appreciate them been like brothers to me Thank you

  HORRIBLE!!!! I went in for a routine brake job and walked out with a $275 strut replacement quote. Randy claims that my spring broke during the brake replacement.
