The condo association recently employed LAZ parking handle the valet. And boy was that a mistake. They are disorganized, unreliable, and employ shady business practices. Within the first month, they damaged the front bumper of our truck, making the license plate detach and did NOT notify us of the damage- they were clearly aware, given they had taken the detached license plate and placed it in passenger seat. We only found out about the damage when we picked up the truck for our next trip. The employee that gave us the truck tried to say that we could "fix it up" with superglue (we clearly couldn't given that the license bolts were bent and plastic bits were missing).
The day we learned about the damage, we reached out to the HOA and LAZ manager of the damages for a resolution, and offered dashcam footage proving that we returned the truck unscathed. Low and behold, the manager assigned to our case got our valet area wrong and said they were not liable because she got our valet area mistaken with a self-park area; she corrected herself through email, but has not reached out since. Not responding to our email chain, LAZ parking reached out to us via phone and tried to get us to verbally agree to a waived parking fee for next month ($310); we of course did not agree since we are still getting the damage assessed by different garages. It is beyond shady that they reached out via phone and did not want to admit fault via our email chain. It is also unprofessional to not outright pay the damage costs and only offer credit; we've already found a new, more trustworthy parking situation. Update - they tried to decrease the credit to a measly $18. Please try to find an alternative parking situation or attach dashcam footage of on your vehicle if you're forced to work with these crooks.
