I was already suspicious, but the cracked engine mount sounded serious and I have an older car so I let them check it just to be safe, and - what a surprise! - the engine mount was completely fine after they spent half an hour in the engine bay. Took my car very soon after to another mechanic and they said there was no problem with my brakes at all, funny 🤷🏻♂️ Ended up wasting almost an extra hour of my day having to deal with this shady behavior when all I wanted was a simple oil change and would not recommend this shop to anyone.
