  We had many rental car companies to choose from at ORD & chose Enterprise because we’ve been pleased with them in other locations. Edgar was personable as well as knowledgeable as he took us to the lot & gave us our choice of cars. We’ll definitely use them again @ ORD & would recommend to others!

  Enterprise is the best. From easy reservation process online, free cancellations & modifications, excellent vehicle options, great phone APP and wonderful staff. I've rented hundreds of cars thru ECR, and can't remember a single Enterprise employee ever being anything but great! Especially Kiki recently at O'hare. Amazing attitude, attentive, quick to process my return and she's a Cooper DeJean fan. EPIC! Go Birds!!

  I confirmed my ability to be able to rent via debit card 2x before placing my reservation here. I was told with a return itinerary it would be no issue. Great! Except there was an issue, and the location would not rent to me. Customer service was called and said there's nothing in the policy precluding it. The location said customer service didn't have the right policy and didn't know what they were talking about. I think an organization should have clear policies and rules and they should all agree on what those are. If policies have to be different at different locations, specific location information should be reliably provided to the renter. Second time I've been screwed by enterprise... not happening again.

  Had a wonderful experience renting a car at the O'hare airport location. Their customer service is fantastic! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I requested a certain car that was on my reservation, and did not receive that car. That was ok, no problem. But the car I did receive was a bit damaged with marks all around the back side of the car and trunk area. Enterprise was extremely nice when I sent them a note, with pictures wanting this marked on my file. Unfortunately seeing this in a dark garage does not look so bad. But in the sunlight it does. They were kind enough to say I can swap out the car if I wanted. There was no need for that. This was the 2nd time in the past 2 months I have rented with Enterprise. I have been faithful to another company for many many years with great status, usually getting luxury vehicles. But they do not check in with me nor respond back to me the way Enterprise has the last 2 times. Customer service I feel is extremely important and makes you feel valued. I loved that! And lately, their pricing I feel has been better then other companies. So thank you to Enterprise and to your wonderful staff.

  I rented a vehicle from Enterprise Rent-A-Car with pickup at Chicago O’Hare and return in Iowa City. The administrative process was smooth. The vehicle was not. The car had over 500,000 miles on it — an astonishing number for a rental fleet vehicle. From the start, it was clear the car was excessively worn. The transmission would not engage properly. I repeatedly had to force the gear or try more than once for it to shift. That is not an inconvenience; it is a safety risk. On top of that, the dashboard displayed a service/oil maintenance warning throughout the rental. A vehicle with active maintenance alerts should never be placed in service. Enterprise promotes reliability and quality. Releasing a vehicle in this condition reflects a serious lapse in fleet oversight and maintenance standards. Customers should not have to question whether their rental car is mechanically safe.
