- NHNicole Hunter6 days ago1.0Last night when I get off of work, my car wouldn’t start and I was downtown Chicago, Once I conquered getting someone to jump my car off, I instantly rode straight to advance auto on Roosevelt and Central by this time it is like 6:30 PM. I left my car running and went into The store first I asked them if they had a bathroom I could use he said no it’s only for workers then I asked the worker how much would he charge me for a battery for a 2008 Pontiac Torrence at first he said $212 plus taxes then by the end of the conversation I had to pay $315 for a battery, After I looked at my savings, I remembered Maverick auto on diversity and Central, while my car is still running. I call Maverick. They priced the battery over the phone for $165. I made it to Maverick around 740pm I pay for the battery they installed the battery for me no charge and also replaced my power steering fuse that cost eight dollars. Thanks to those great guys at maverick everyone got the job done! Thanks, Maverick please be mindful There are other options out here that will fit you perfectly
