Went in to get my battery tested and only had to wait about a half hour for the battery to be fully checked. The test found out that it was a bad battery, and they were able to locate my purchase from an Advance Auto Parts store across the country and made sure my warranty was upheld. Will definitely be a return customer!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
