- SRSamantha RodriguezMar 27, 20261.0Very disappointing experience at this location, due to an employee named Jose P. I went in to purchase car oil and provided all the correct information for both of my vehicles. While I was asking a few basic questions about my account and product warranties, he appeared increasingly irritated. Unfortunately, I later discovered that I had been given the wrong oil for one of my cars. When I returned to the store with my husband, a kind and professional female employee was able to quickly correct the issue. However, during that interaction, Jose inserted himself into the conversation to ask what had gone wrong. When I explained that HE had given me the incorrect item, he chose to respond, not to me, but to my husband, saying, “you shouldn’t send a woman to get these items.” That comment was not only inappropriate, but completely unacceptable. My gender had absolutely nothing to do with the mistake, especially considering I provided accurate information from the start. It’s disappointing that instead of taking accountability, he chose to deflect responsibility with a sexist remark. I also can’t help but wonder how he treats female employees, given that he felt comfortable being openly sexist toward a customer. I expect better professionalism and respect from employees. Experiences like this make it difficult to feel comfortable returning, and I hope management takes this matter seriously.
