    Horrible customer service, was lied to about return policy and tricked into buying an item twice. Legit scammers flat out be careful or shop elsewhere and thank me later.

    I arrived to the store asking if my battery could be checked. Was asked if the car will turn back on if I turned off. I said I’m not sure but could I ge a jump if it didn’t. I was told no until I told them that my battery was under warranty from Advanced Auto Parts, all of sudden they could check the battery. Checked the battery, test came back that it was good but I needed an alternator, weird because none of my dashboard lights were on. Was referred to a mechanic after I was forced to leaving a five star review. Went to the mechanics that was referred to by the store (after buying the $361 alternator for them) just to be told it was not alternator it was indeed my battery. Took pictures of his diagnostic tool that showed that and went back to the store. Made it to the store and the manager was already on the phone with the mechanic and I proceeded to try and return the alternator and get my new battery out of warranty. The manager told me that she would not give me the battery because her machine says my battery was good and it was not the alternator although the mechanic that she sent me to, said different. Ended up going back to the original store where they made good on the battery warranty as their machine said that my alternator was good, but my battery needed to be replaced and that my starter voltage was low. Back to the store on Stony, I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt and say maybe their equipment malfunction, I asked if they had another machine and was told no. I’m concerned how dismissive the manager was about my safety, because she didn’t want to get “dinged” for seeing through my battery warranty. Also I missed a full day of work, when if the machine would have read like the mechanics and the other stores I would have got my battery replaced in 20-30 minutes and kept going on with my day. Also still waiting for my refund on the unnecessary alternator that I purchased.

    This was an amazing experience great customer service and amazing prices. I work directly with Shay. She walked me through the battery. I had to buy the parts I had to buy. My car had been not running for 10 months and now I’m running thank you.
